Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes when and how Clients may request a refund for services purchased from madebygrids, operated by Omar Khalil (auto-entrepreneur, SIREN 923 847 156). This policy works alongside the right of withdrawal granted to consumers under French law (Code de la consommation, Articles L221-18 to L221-28), described in our Terms of Service.
1. Eligibility for a refund
Full refund — work has not started
If you request a refund before your onboarding call has taken place and before any work has begun on your project, you are entitled to a full refund, no questions asked, within 7 days of purchase. This applies to all service tiers.
Partial refund — work has started
If the onboarding call has taken place and discovery has begun, but the workspace has not yet been delivered, you may request a partial refund of 50% of the purchase price. This compensates us for the time already invested in your project.
No refund — workspace has been delivered
Once the workspace has been delivered (the Notion link has been shared with the Client), no refund is available. However, you remain entitled to the revision rounds included in your tier, used within 14 days of delivery.
2. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
Under French and EU law, consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. This right applies to our services with the following important exception: when you ask us to begin work before the 14-day period expires, you waive your right of withdrawal once work has begun, in accordance with Article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code.
To exercise your right of withdrawal (where it still applies), send a clear statement to hello@madebygrids.com within 14 days of purchase. If withdrawal is valid, the refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving your request, using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
3. How to request a refund
Send an email to hello@madebygrids.com with:
- Your full name and email used at purchase
- Your Stripe order or receipt number
- A short description of the reason for the refund request
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process it according to the eligibility rules above.
4. Refund processing time
Approved refunds are processed via Stripe, using the original payment method. Once we issue the refund, it typically appears in your account within 5 to 10 business days. The exact timing depends on your card issuer or bank.
5. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, we encourage you to contact us first at hello@madebygrids.com so we can attempt to resolve the issue amicably. If we cannot reach an agreement, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform:
